Villa Monteoriolo was built in the 15th century on top of a hill where it dominates the surrounding countryside called “Chianti”. In Renaissance times this villa belonged to the Gherardini family, the family of the famous Mona Lisa, immortalized by Leonardo Da Vinci. 30 hectares of smooth and delightful landscape are a source of peace and happiness for every tourist who wants to experience the incomparable joys of Tuscany.

For 200 years ago this villa has been a property of our family. Nowadays it’s the two of us who look after it. It’s Eleonoras’s passion to look after the apartments, the flowers, the cooking and the kitchen garden while it’s Marco’s passion to look after the olive trees and produce a delicious olive oil.
